Curriculum & Learning Philosophy
At Saint Laurentius School we participate in the Children’s Literacy Initiative (CLI) which works to improve early literacy instruction so that children become powerful readers, writers and thinkers. The STREAM program is incorporated into all of the children’s activities and projects.
Our teachers encourage a love of learning and provide a safe and nurturing environment. Children are encouraged to play and work together in large, bright classrooms while developing social skills and positive relationships with each other and their teachers.
We believe that it is important to set learning goals that are both challenging, but also achievable. We also encourage creative play, a love of reading and curiosity about the world around us.
